Lana worked as a retail pharmacist, hiding the secret dream of becoming a music composer beneath her white lab coat. “My parents immigrated to Canada to give us the best future possible,” she says. “They sacrificed so much, and education was everything to them. A career that provided stability and financial security was a priority. So music was my passion, but never my plan.”
For years, Lana kept composing music, but after the sudden and devastating loss of her husband, she gave it all up. As a young widow with two small children, her only focus became raising her family.
But life has a way of leading us back to where we belong…
As if orchestrated by fate, a series of synchronistic events led Lana back to music composition, resulting in the release of Fairy Tales From the Underworld, Pt. 1: A Bedtime Story (Beauty Meets the Beast), an original instrumental soundtrack for L.C. Moon’s dark and captivating novel.
She hasn’t looked back since, pouring her heart into Melodies in Arcana Major™, a project that merges her passion for music with her deep connection to Tarot.
Reflecting on her path, Lana says, “Sometimes, a dream you thought was buried forever can bloom again. Only it comes back richer, stronger, and more powerful because of all the hardships you’ve endured. So, always trust the journey and keep the faith. What is meant to be will always find its way back to you.”
